Thanks, David--again!

What started off as a quick, but stoic, visual representation of where tech tools would fit into the hierarchy, we discovered that it's not that easy. We we're thinking cognitive load--Bloom was thinking assessment, practicality, and function. I'm applying Bloom's in a new way, whether it's right or wrong will be discovered as the conversation continues. I'm creating...and synthesizing...and very soon going to disrupt this model again!

During the image reposting for proper attribution, these comments below were wiped out, and are being faithfully reproduced here. Had I realized I shared the space with such an astute group of colleagues, I would have been more diligent in tracking down the source.

It appears to have started quite a firestorm of controversy amongst some of my PLN contacts on Twitter, who feel that although it is useful there are certain portions mis-aligned with Bloom's original taxonomic intent. Nonetheless, it has served the purpose of generating discussion, and getting educators talking about the concept. Well done, Michael.

Also, Michael was kind enough to provide links in a subsequent comment to the original content discussion from digigogy in February and March of 2009. Definitely worth reading to understand the proper context.
