Teach Beyondmedia

In this year-long program, teachers will receive training and assistance in implementing new media rich lesson plans, gain support for resource development, earn CPDU and Lane credits, and build confidence in engaging and educating students in alternative learning methods.

Teachers will: 1) receive hands-on training to use media tool; 2) work together to implement these tools into their teaching plans; 3) discuss with fellow teachers how to invigorate curriculum and best reach their students; 4) receive information about sustaining technologically-driven programming at their schools; 5) develop relationships within and between schools to help sustain motivated teaching throughout the year.

Beyondmedia Education's mission is to collaborate with under-served and under-represented women, youth and communities to tell their stories, connect their stories to the world around us, and organize for social justice through the creation and distribution of media arts.
