There are so many ways we can benefit from using Google Apps for Education, but the system is not perfect. I am sure we all run into some issues along the way and perhaps by sharing Google problems we can also find some solutions.

For example your browser makes a difference; Internet Explorer does not support some of the functions related to charts in spreadsheets and in drawings, so it is better to use Firefox or Google Chrome.

An issue I have not been able to solve is that the curse sometimes appears to be in one location in a document but what you type is inserted in a different place. I've had this occur at least a dozen times.

Roger,

Hi my name is Marshall Haire.  I am the Network Administrator at the same school that Scott is from.  If you have any questions about M86 and Google Apps for Education you can contact me at mhaire@nebpanthers.com. Also, it took quite a few Probes in M86 and making sure laptops over wireless were authenicated to M86 correctly to determine what sites were being blocked that was causing the "trying to reach google.com" error.  If you have any more questions feel free to contact me at the above address.  Have a good day.
