Hey everyone,
Episode #22 is up for your listening pleasure! Episode #22 describes different ways to use Google Maps to help students who participate in Community Based Instruction (CBI). Also, there is a special guest bumper from Dr. Penny Reed!

The A.T.TIPSCAST hit #10 on Cyberears.com!
The more time the A.T.TIPCAST stays on the front page of this website the more people may stumble across it. This means even more people will be exposed to ideas for ways to help students! Thanks for all of your support!

Judie,
I love the idea. Maybe someday we can collaborate and I can do an interview with you about that very subject. In my opinion podcasts are better when you have more than one voice to listen to.

Hi Chris-
I think it would be fun to do a segment on adapted books. Books can be adapted to meet the needs of a wide variety of learners by making them bigger, smaller, easier to handle, or changing the text, to name just a few adaptations. Text and pictures can be substituted or supplemented by drawings, digital photos, clip-art, Mayer Johnson symbols, and more. Pages can be "fluffed" to make it easier to turn them with large paper clips, tiny clothespins, packing peanuts, Popsicle sticks, hot glue dots, 1/2 – 1 inch or square pieces of sponge or foam, to name a few. Whadaya think?
