A "secret" Google product that has great potential for use in education is Google Moderator. The simple web-based application allows users to submit questions/ideas/suggestions and vote on existing ones. The most popular questions move to the top. You can also preface your question/idea/suggestion by including a short YouTube video.

There are some great applications for moderator in education. Instead of posting them here, I've created a Moderator "series" in which you can view my ideas, vote on them, and add your own. We'll see which one is the most popular! Don't be shy, vote and submit ideas!
