If you do stop-motion animation/claymation with your students (or are looking for an excuse to get started), a colleague and I are looking for more classes to join a "secretive student movie society" that creates and published short stop-motion movies.

The group is known as Longfellow 10. (http://lf10.wordpress.com/)

The first wave of movies are all based around explaining a literary term. (see example below)

While our two classes are middle school-aged students, we are open to other grades getting involved.

We have a few resources to help teachers get started:
1. Getting started with Apple Computers
2. A claymation project overview

If you are interested, please direct mail me or leave a comment here.
