Welcome aboard, there is a lot to be learned around here.
I am a psychology/social studies teacher at Burr and Burton Academy in southern Vermont. Getting to those meant to do over break items. Looks like an interesting site.
Hello everyone. I'm Yvonne Osborn and I'm a Primary Visual Arts Teacher at Taylors Lakes in Melbourne, Australia. I am passionate about teaching and learning, particularly in the Visual Arts. I have a blog at http://www.tlpsart.edublogs.org . I am interested in hearing from Visual Arts teachers who are fortunate to have an Interactive Whiteboard in their Art Room. Oh to be so lucky.
Hello - I am an Ed. Tech Specialist For SLL Boces NY. We are a collaborative that works with teacher k-12 with technology integration. I am always working with all grade levels and subjects. I look forward to exploring ways that other teachers have utilized technology in the classroom. I would also like to bring some of my work back to you and do some sharing:-)
Christina,
My name is Michael DeShazo and I have a company that does something similar to what you are describing, but more in the areas of adult learning and training programs. I am also beginning to branch into how to use Web 2.0 in public school classrooms and how it can be employed effectively. It would be interesting to chat about our various experiences.

Cheers,
Michael DeShazo

Hello all! I am about to begin work as an Education Advisor in Information and Communication technology in Abu Dhabi. I would especially love to hear from anyone who has experience with the K-5 Information Literacy and Technology curriculum that comes from Australia.
Welcome aboard, Mary! I don't know what you are looking for but my students have done a ton of stuff using technology over the years--you can some of the things we've done here.
Hi. I am the librarian for a small school district in Iowa. Our three schools are technologically well supported, with wireless Mac laptops available K-12. All teachers have laptops and the student/laptop ratio is nearing 2:1. Our Information Literacy curriculum is integrated into the classroom and dovetails with the Technology Integration and Services Plan.
I travel from building to building each day and have almost no paper files. I rely on my laptop, our server and Web 2.0 tools. I work with students and with teachers at all levels to blend meaningful use of technology with information literacy skills. I am a database fanatic and our district makes significant use of the subscription resources provided to us by the state and the local area education agency. I am very interested in helping bring meaningful Web 2.0 tools to our classrooms.
Hi everyone,

My name is Sean, I am a PhD candidate in Education at the Univ. of Illinois (urbana-champaign). Big fan of web 2.0 and what are the possible benefits to the virtual education format. I specialize in Philosophy, and am also working on an MBA simultaneously. I've used a few different formats so far in the classroom, and have been involved the the development of some new ones too. Excited to be a part of this community.

Take Care!
