The Mosquito buzz- cell phone rings- The students won this one

As the 8th graders depart one of the students got to share their "best cell phone story." The school policy here is no cell phones in class. They are allowed to keep them in their lockers...I bet you can guess they keep them right in their pants pockets. After a few being caught text messaging each other and vibrating cell phones moving around the pencil boxes they came up with something that I NEVER caught so That's egg on my face for sure! They had the "Mosquito." ring turned on and it would go off in their classes-including mine and I couldn't hear it. Apparently no one over 20 can hear that ring. It would bug the other kids but student had a hard time "turning it off" without being caught. You can read about it here.

Another reason for just letting them take them out... and use them as calculators ect. Because of course they are very proud they out smarted all of us! I have no idea how to get past this one.
