I use Comic Life here in the school but see a lot of potential w/ ToonDoo (toondoo.com). However, ToonDoo is an online program and is wide open to anybody. The last thing I want is for our kids to see things or post things that they shouldn't, curse words/bad taste, etc. Does anybody use this program in a school setting, and if so, how do you regulate it?

Thanks!!

I didn't have a chance to test that option. You may give a try to utilities like snippage that lets you make a widget of a part of a page. You may be able to give kids the possibility to create a cartoon.... without them getting to visit the website. As I said, I didn't test this.
Thanks, I'll look into it.
I used toondoo just yesterday. I set up the student accoutbs ahead of time..andhad all the screens set in the create mode which got me past the website. when finished I had the kids use the print screen button-paste into paint then print.
I use Strip Generator, and I really like it. It's bloggy, but I haven't had any problem with offensive comments at all.
