Hi,

My school District is looking to redo the AUP for students and teachers - it was last done in 1999.  I am looking to see what people have added to theirs and what the reaction of the faculty has been.  We are thinking of putting in a no access to Google Images and You Tube, among others.

I welcome any advice, feedback, suggestions

Personally, I have been fighting the battle to allow these sites (and a gazillion others) - the students (and teachers) simply find a way to work around the blocking of the sites you mentioned. Better to teach "acceptable use" than to fight a battle that is not teaching the students anything and is a losing battle!!
We block YouTube.  Too challenging to filter questionable material.  A teacher in CT lost her job because of a youtube video that was accidentally shown in her classroom.  Yikes!
