Hi Mark,

Thanks for the suggestions. Wiziq looks outstanding. How would you compare this with Moodle?

I've got an account with Slideshare and created a powerpoint workshop on the changing face of literacy with a focus on the need to reframe the concepts of "reading" give new and emerging technologies.

Thanks for that,
Melanie

Hi Mark,

About 8 months ago, I tried to use both Wiziq's and authorstream but could not get them to work with ppt graphics or videos.

Is there now a screencast that shows how these apps can use multimedia assets within the ppt presentations?

Regards,

-Jack

Dear Mark
Thank you,
I will try that.
What did you make of AnimalAgentz.com

We are listed on The National Autistic Society to help children:
http://www.autism.org.uk/nas/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=1404&a=13703

But Animal Agentz can also be used to just teach basic skills to help children with stress etc.
Best wishes

Thank you for your suggestions. I will check it out. I am fairly new to all this tech stuff and don't spend enough time playing to become proficient but I plan to work on that thanks to your suggestions.

Hi Mark, thanks for the tips. In haiku LMS we have a feature called Embed the Web, and I have queued both these services to be included in our directory of resources. It will help promote the WizIq and authorstream as well as give teachers an easy way to include them in their haiku LMS classes.
