I am a fanatic, always looking for new ideas to improve but this book really made life so much easier and (we'll see when test scores come out next month) more effective in the classroom. The hard part, sometimes, though, is that I teach so differently than everyone else. I'm definitely a lone wolf!

It is the only way to go for Reader's and Writer's workshop, especially if you have a huge difference in your reading levels. Last year, my class ranged from 0.6-6.8! I taught 3rd grade and I'm moving up with them to 4th.

I really enjoyed watching and listening to your 2nd graders on the MLK Kid Pix presentation. Very good makes me feel nostalgic for my last class who would probably be 3rd Graders, I think. Im not too sure as I am from the UK. Any way I listened to your alter ego and he has potential too!!
