Greetings Anne. Thanks 4 being my first contact. What's happening "Down Under?" This is a great site, and I'm looking forward to teaching web 2.0 as part of an introduction 2 the visual arts.
Wow. Thank you for the nice comments. How fun to teach web 2.0 to all of those grade levels. I would like to take the summer to create lessons and projects for a weekly tech club with 15 students. Do you write your own curriculum? Which grade levels do you recommend I take for this tech club pilot year? Do you have an outline for topics/tools you introduce in a year? Thanks for any discussion and ideas. :)
Thank you for the welcome! Right now we are using Second Life for professional development for our teachers and Quest Atlantis for our kids. I'm very interested in learning more about the open sim concepts. If you are one twitter I suggest you follow @RichWhite He does a lot with open sim and virtual worlds in education.
Thanks Anne, i am really looking for assistance and guidance in the use of Web 2.0 within my classroom. Should you have any ideas or suggestions i would be more than happy to listen. Thanks again. Kate

Anne, Thank you for the clarification... I am chuffed that you agreed to do this interview! The ability to connect with educators this way is really a testament to distance learning!
Anne, Thank you so much! I am really excited to hear your responses and incorporate your experience into my research. If you prefer, you can email your responses to me at tiffsznn@hotmail.com
Yes, well Korea and NY are pretty different. NYC is most similar, but out here in upstate...yes it is laughable. However, you can find the time and amazing resources when you are out. I remember when I went Wwoofing in Australia and worked at one farm up in Katherine and the owner was also a teacher at the long distance radio school. It was amazing to see what they were doing for those kids. And that was almost 10 years ago, I would love to see what they are doing now.
