Well, the project is finally gaining momentum after some technical hiccups. Technology does make teaching and learning more effective, but those benefits do not come without some bumps in the road. Some changes in our school's computers and server caused delay in getting started again (similar problems occurred earlier in the semester). Most of the delay is in using softwares on the student laptops. The wireless slate has definitely increased engagement in the classroom. The tool is still a novelty for the students which surprises me. They usually become disenchanted quickly with most technology tools. I am wondering if or when the students will become less interested in using the slate in class.
