Kidspiration (preview by clicking here!) is a tool tha can be used to make brain webs on a computer. It is great for children who cannot read because Kidspiration can have sound and verbally tell a child what a picture or word is supposed to mean. After playing with Kidspiration, I realized how beneficial it could be to lower end elementary school kids as well as upper elementary students. A teacher of lower elementary children could use Kidspiration to relate word to one another. For example words that start with the letter "C" could be grouped into the different sounds "C" can make such a "ch", "c" as in a hard "k", or "c" as in a soft "s". Upper elementary teachers could use Kidspiration to help elementary children map their ideas. Also, there are many programs on Kidspiration in Science and other subject predesigned to teach things such as animal groups. Overall, Kidspiration is a great asset to a classroom.
