2 weeks ago I started looking at all the little links that started popping up within Google. The one that got me hooked was iGoogle (life has never been the same). Then Gmail and the list goes on, after 2 days of just playing, clicking here, linking there, downloading the latest little gadget, putting a theme in iGoogle, I asked myself what could all this be used for. 2 weeks later, I am knee deep in developing a Social Studies Unit for LAP students that utilizes multimedia technology provided only by Google. Yes for some reason I want to see if I can build an entire unit using nothing but Google, no Microsoft nothing but Google.

So far there has been ups (embedded video/slide shows in Google Earth, with the ability to link overlays within Placemark Balloons) and downs (Stupid Adobe not having new enough Flash Player for Mac, so I can see these embedded videos and slideshows from home). But slowly the creation is beginning.

I would like to use this blog to edit my thoughts, and achievements with my creation. I know I am not a social studies teacher, and have a lot to learn about lesson development, but this will be my record of a journey.
