About Me
I work as an Education Officer Curriculum ICLT. In 2000 I was appointed as Apple Distinguished Educator. I am particularly interested in having all students reach their full potential and to do this we need to make learning rich real and relevant to them.

My ten applications I cant live without!

A Web browser is essential and Firefox is the best I come across on both Windows and Mac!

Comiclife is a really versatile program made by a great company who understand education. Now is cross platform too!

I use iChat all time to keep in touch with my friends around the world.

Before iTunes my music was all over the place if it only could convert the vinyl!

Well bookmarking never really worked until Del.icio.us

I have always loved to take photos so iPhoto allows me to keep them organised. I think I have found the movie organiser I have been looking for with Miro.

Everyone needs to have some sort of graphical organiser and Inspirations works for me.

I have been making movies since mid 70's so I just love flexibility that iMovie brings to this process.

I love music but could never create it until Garageband came along. I can now get kids to produce their own music.

I love to create claymations and this is an area been working on since college and QuickTime Pro still allows me to do this easily on either Windows or Macs.

The 6th graders at Chichester Central School in Chichester, New Hampshire (USA), would like to invite you to participate in our blog.  We have created a blog, which we hope will allow us to explore varying diets from around the world.  Our goal is to understand what other country’s diets consist of and what they consider to be healthy.  Here in New Hampshire, we eat a lot of seafood and lobsters as we are so close to the Atlantic Ocean.  We also grow and eat fresh corn, apples, strawberries, blueberries and even pumpkins.  If you are interested, please visit our blog at cgagnon.edublogs.org and respond to the “World Diets” page.  If you respond, it would be helpful if you could include which country or area of the world you are responding from.  If you are not interested, it would be much appreciated if you could pass this along to a friend or colleague that may be.

We here in New Hampshire look forward to your response.  Thanks

-Chris Gagnon – 6th grade teacher

Yes Paul, I'm here on this last day of NECC - heading home (Milwaukee) tomorrow.

Great conference. We really had fun and enjoyed the sessions.

Several ADEs here, even more folks from Australia and NZ. Hope to run into you at a future event!

Best,

Jeff

Yea, We have been exploring how to use it with our teachers and I have created a couple of closed communities for projects we are running. I have also been encouraging people to join Classroom 2.0. We have lots struggling with how to use social networking. they just want to block everything.

Yes it takes a lot of time. I wish I had more to spend exploring all these online things and participating in conversations...

i wonder if they got the idea for these comment walls from the sticky notes in think.com
