Would you be interested in working with 10-12 year olds on some writing projects? My blog will give you an idea of what our schools and area is like. Welcome to classroom 2.0!

Thank you very much Ruth. Students involved in this "Promises"' projects are 13-15 years old. I think they will have many questions for you, not only about the film, but also about schools in Israël, youth' life, Jerusalem. We can imagine differents ways:
- chat with Skype
- visio if you can (for us it's very easy)
- create a discussion on my ning where you can go from time to time to reply ti the questions of my students. i think that this last way is the more convenient for you (and me). If you accept, can you sign in when i will prepare these sessions about "Israel and Palestinians: education to peace" with more materials. I'm preparing for my students some essential facts about the conflict and the impact on young israelians and young palestinians.

I was at Gordes a few weeks ago with my "chérie" ;-)... If you like Provence and if you visit your friend, try Manosque (just 1 hour by car...): it will b for me a great pleasure to show you wonderful things in the "Alpes de Haute-Provence". I hope you have visited the historic synagogue of Cavaillon... You know maybe that the history of jewish community of the region of Avignon is fascinating... take advantage of you sabbatic days to spend a few days in Provence ;-)

I invite you to join our network (it would be easier to prepare with you the discussion):

Lucky woman : i dream for sabbatica year ;-). Maybe you can help me even if you have no student this year. We'll watch soon with my students "Promises" and i would like join by chat or visio some persons living like you in Israel. I visited a few tears ago Hand to Hand School at Jerusalem and i think they work very well for education to peace. Same feelings in an arab school at Tamra. And same feelings with a palestinanian NGO in West Bank. I met also Hannah Lazman, the mother of the twins in the film Promises: she was so fine ! This is the reason why i try to contact israelian teachers... Check out our site at http://horslesmurs.ning.com , i'll put very soon pages about history of Israel. I worked a few years ago with a brilliant french historian Georges Bensoussan who has writen an excellent history of sionism, one of the best book in France on this topic
