The video contest is a great idea. Since my students are K-8, we will be participating, however. I hope the contest is very successful.

i don't know about schooltube but teachertube is accessible. would it be ok for them to post their vids to teachertube?

I encourage you to join my ning group and also post information about this in the articles section of the Tutor/Mentor Connection web site. You might also set it up as an event on Facebook where it could get attention from multiple programs.

Great idea. I sent it off to the English dept. to see if anyone bits. I'm sure our Film and Video class will do a couple.

Our students are school principals and superintendents, but I can mention this to them.

We are fifth grade students so we are a bit young to prepare for the SATs. Enjoy the contest, though.

Depending on the date and time, I'm sure my teachers would love to get involved. We live in Hawaii, so the time difference is sometimes a challenge. I'd like more information.

Hi Jack - This looks very cool, but when I watched one of the sample videos ("Obscure"), it included what sounded like a copyrighted song in it. I didn't see anything in the rules about avoiding copyrighted content; are submissions with copyrighted material actually acceptable in the contest?
