NECTAR Foundation is a non-profit organization that develops and markets curriculum-based software for mathematics, language arts, and science for Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our products have been developed in conjunction with teachers in the Ottawa School Board. Each program uses engaging interactive technology to help students develop their math, language and science skills. Some products are designed as remediation or intervention support programs. The products feature comprehensive curriculum based strands with a student tracking system that provides detailed individual and class results. All products include teacher resource document with print support materials, individual, group and culminating performance activities. Our products are being used by over 10,000 schools in Canada, the U.S. and other parts of the world.
Our main website is www.nectar.ca where our products are marketed and sold to schools and school districts.

We recently developed another site called Learn With Trek - www.learnwithtrek.com where we are marketing our products to parents, students and home schools for home use at very affordable prices (currently priced at $24.95). Parents are able to purchase a perpetual license of any of our products - (most products are 2 to 3 years of curriculum) and work with their child who may be struggling in school or who may wish to stay on top of their learning.

This isn't only meant to be a shameless plug, but I am looking for ideas on how to get the word out. I'd also like to explore ways for teachers to help us communicate to parents and compensating the teacher for their efforts. For example, providing $5 for each product sold that can be used at the teachers discretion. Any ideas would be more than welcome. You may email me at paul.noah@nectar.ca or post a reply to this posting.

Thank you.
