Xtranormal is free again!

Xtranormal, which was is free beta for a very long time, has been a pay for play site for about 6 months. Well, no longer. It is, once again, completely free. They have apparently decided to change their business model to focus more on their desktop software.

This to me is wonderful, wonderful news. I use Xtranormal regularly for the notes on my website and other fun little tricks. For example I used it to introduce myself on Back to School Night. Parents loved it and the kids have been begging me to see "Dr. Washington" again ever since.

If you haven't used it before it is basically a 3d animated movie maker. You type up the script and it is then "performed" by the puppets. Very excellent toy.
