Power, Leadership and Ambition Question #2....
Have you ever stopped to think about why we prefer to be around people that are ambitious? What is ambition? The idea of wanting more and not stopping at anything to ensure that you get what your dreams have been molded to is the general idea but what does that mean we seek power and have no fear for the consequences of our ambition? Leaders are those who we feel that we can put the trust into to get us through any and everything. But, is that all that a leader is? As you begin to discuss, in your own responses, the ideas presented in this point, explain what the traits of a leader are and what makes someone worthy of being considered a leader. Consider and discuss why you would follow these people as well as the realtion of each of these ideas. Make sure that you include examples and your own personal experiences relevent.

Leadership is when a person persuades people to follow; without speaking to them. Its all about positivity. You would know when a person is a leader because there appearence is loud and you could see they going some where in life. I use to be the type of person who doesn't do work and always joking. But i change because a young lady showed me i could do better in life. She went from being popular and a huge follower to a leader who is very inteligente and who knows how to seperate foolishness and business.

Some one in an earlier response stated that there two types of leaders, but there are actually several types of leaders. Sometimes a person may be a good leader in a particular instance but will be a bad leader in another.
During a crisis a strong leader that makes critical decision's quickly is valued, but may be considered overbearing in times of calm. A good leader must be able to tell the difference and he must enter into that role with some reluctance. A person that is over-confident is often hiding his own insecurities, in effect a good leaders must also be a good follower. We tend to follow individuals that are confident and driven because we wrestle wth our own insecurities and we think those that appear in control must be superior and therefore better leaders. In group situations I tend to wait and see if a group leader will arise, but if i see noone will or the defacto leader is less than capable I will step up and take over. This stems from the fact that I know what my strengths and weaknesses are and if the task requires someone elses then I'm okay with that.

Leaders are loyalty and you can count on them no matter what. Good leaders make sure you are not in trouble and give you advice. When we want that power so bad, we don't care what the cost is, as long as we got what we want. Half of the time, we already know the consequences. When a leader do something the rest of the team have to suffer with they leader's choice. Everybody wants ambition that's all we have to live for. People don't care because they just don't care.

Ambition is the desire to do positive or negative whatever is your preference.Your desire reflects on your personality shows what type of mindset you have, and how your future will end up. Leaders are not only people leading can come from any living biotic factor .TO BE CONTINUED

A leader is not only people a leader can be any biotic factor. Like lions some are leaders of their pack. A leader is someone that gives without expecting something in return.I feel a leader is someone who has the ambition to never give up, a leader is always trying to find a way to get past a barrier even if it is stronger than them. Leaders are leaders anywhere they go no matter if they are isolated from the others are the world. A leader has a very inquiring mind he/she is always asking and trying to learn more, leaders try to be ahead of others most of the time, like a leader should. I AM NOT A LEADER because I dont live up to the leader expectations I choose to do wrong things knowing that their is a consequence for everything I do wrong. A leader tries to avoid consequences so this means they avoid trouble. A leader has power, a leader holds power with pillars of character Respect, responsibility, honesty, courage, and trust.Leaders always choose the right over the wrong instead of fault over aptness.(

When I think of ambition I feel desire to achieve a particular end. I feel a strong desire for success and that is what gives me the drive and the power to get though my challenging but at the same time adventuresome day. It all starts with your goal and that is how yearn and have that ambition to want or have something. When you really have that ambition or a sertant drive to do whether it be beneficial or the prize that comes with a consequence. This is the guideline that I will follow and that is how I will make it in life.

Huh. I haven't been here in awhile. Well, as a leader I feel as though it's my job to encourage my followers to their best. Usuallly by pushing forward and never giving up, even if things seem impossible or are impossible. I also feel it is a leader's duty to motivate and encouraging them to do their best. Ay, I'm not so good at this...
