The general idea of the project is that the students will visit the Monster Motel at www.kidsonthenet.com/motel and read the monster descriptions, recipes and stories posted by other students. The goal would then be to create their own and submit them. However, I don't want to be the sole person providing them with feedback as they compose their pieces and create their monsters. I thought about VoiceThread, but I'm not even sure our district will allow that through the filter, and I'm not fully sure how to use that as a tool for feedback DURING the process rather than just at the end. Anyone? I am extremely new to all this and just trying to find a place to get started! Thanks for the help!

Hi Deanna,

I teach first grade in a small town in NE Georgia. How are you planning on using the Monster Motel in your curriculum? I would love to work with you on this, but I'm struggling to see it's uses beyond something like adjectives.

Keep in touch and maybe we could collaborate on other projects also!!

I can see where you are going with it...I'm going to take a closer look at the website tomorrow. But it sounds good. It would be fun for our students to edit each others work too!

By the way, what grade do you teach?
I think we can work that out!!
