If you've looked at my last blog entry, you will see that I have been talking about Andrew Keen and his reference to the blogosphere being filled with blogging monkeys hitting their keyboards. Brian Grenier has sent me a great link to a pic that is hilarious. I'd like to center this discussion around schools. Specifically, how do we help students so that Keen's assertion of "just monkeys banging on keyboards" isn't true? Schools can be the forefront of helping young people become contributers that push to new levels of thinking and creating, keeping news media honest and helping to create a political system that is much more democratic and open to the needs of the many, not the few.
