Help! Changing IP addresses and blocks/filters

The Assoc. for Career and Technical Education is going to be changing its IP addresses. If ACTE is on a safe list of unblocked or filtered sites in a school or district, is continuing access as simple as having the teachers give the new IP addresses to their IT departments? Or is there another step I'm not seeing?

I would really appreciate any advice you can give!
