Ways to beat the mosquito ring tone?

Basically I am stuck with enforcing a no cell phone policy- the kids outsmarted us all by using the mosquito ring tone the adults couldn't here. Once they were able to covertly text message-they were NOT getting projects finished-that was my only clue.

Any ideas for next year??
