Dr. Pushor is a mother of three, a former teacher, principal and school board administrator and currently a researcher at the University of Saskatchewan. A proponent of parent engagement as opposed to parent involvement, Dr. Pushor's study of Princess Alexandra Community School in Saskatoon four years ago showed Pushor and colleague Claudia Ruitenberg how to make it work. Her
