A social studies teacher in my building wants to connect her freshman World Cultures students (60 of them) with students from Europe for email or wiki discussion / sharing of "local issues". What are local issues for you? How are they the same / different from local issues in Maine, US? That kind of thing. Students with at least intermediate English skills would be helpful. It's the first connection for her, and she'd love to do just a short 3-wk dialog. If anyone is interested, please let me know on my CR20 page. Thanks!
