West of Socorro in a bowl shaped valley on top of a mountain, the Very Large Array of Radio Telescopes are used in ongoing research of space through radio astronomy. This facility lies on the remains of the ancient Playa de San Augustin mountain.

very interesting... I wonder if any of the research coming out of the very large array is online...

The rabbit, overshadowed by the road grader, overshadowed by each of the radio telescopes, each set the size perspective.
