Bird Beak Lesson with Smart Board

I chose this particular video because the Smart Board can be used at all grade levels to make learning fun and interesting. I have yet had the opportunity to use one, but I'm very eager to learn more about them. The students are using a tennis ball to place the correct bird with the corresponding food it may eat. Activities like this one allows the students to get up and out of their seats and interact with one another, yet learning at the same time. My old district had some smart boards, and every classroom in my current district has a Prometheium Activboard. I'm sharing this w/ some teachers who are new to this kind of technology so they have an idea on what they can do!!!
