About Me: As a supervisor, I have managed the development of the ESOL curriculum and assessments at every grade level. I have also collaborated with other offices to address critical issues that have arisen at the elementary, middle, and high school levels Over the past year, I have also worked with ESOL staff to establish collaborative relationships among the various ESOL teams, in our division, to support the ESOL instructional programs in our schools. As a division leader, I have helped to plan and facilitate sessions for school leaders and have coordinated instructional support for schools in MCPS. As an ESOL instructional specialist, I have had experience developing standards-based ESOL curricula at the state and county levels. Specifically, I worked with the state-level development team that worked on the PreK-12 English Language Proficiency standards. As well, I have led several project teams through the design and development phases of the ESOL curricula for ESOL students.
