About Me: I have been a teacher of science and technology in both the IBOs Diploma and Middle Years programs since 1998 at international schools in India, El Salvador, Vietnam and South Korea. I have supported teachers in integrating educational technologies, environmental issues and community service into the classroom to enhance holistic learning. Specifically, one my focus is on how to prepare school management and teachers on how the use of IT changes teaching pedagogy to maximize the benefits of IT in the classroom.
A new current interests is in training students and teachers in determining their school’s and/or community’s carbon/ecological footprint in order to reduce their impact on the environment and inform energy and cost saving decisions.
