About Me: Mari is currently the Math Coach at Phoenix ESD-1, AZ, where she continued her lead as an Intel Teach Master-Trainor since 2006. Last summer, she facilitate the AZ-Teach21 online class for ADE (AZ Department of Education)’s course for teachers wishing to integrate technology in basic education. She also develops state assessment for Middle School Math for ADE-Pearson for the last 3 years.

Apart from training teachers about the new Math Curriculum, coaching & supporting their instruction, she also serves as both NASA Solar System Ambassador & NASA Heliophysics Ambassador for Arizona, US. This month, she will be presenting at the NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) Nat’l Conference in Indianapolis, IN, being a NASA Ambassador & WWT (WorldWideTelescope) Ambassador. This will be her 3rd time presenting at such international conference: last year at San Francisco CA, & in 2009, at Philadelphia PA.

In October this year will also be her 3rd time presenting in the Arizona statewide conference for Math teachers through ASU (Arizona State University) and AATM (Arizona Association of Teachers in Math).

She is also a Discovery Star Educator since 2008.
