Welcome to classroom2.0 You might find that you are better off putting that request for collaborators on a discussion on the main page as most people go there first to check out what is new.
If you're interested in getting online a bit more with your classes, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
