I've taught in Arizona for 25 years: the first two on an Indian Reservation as a Special Education teacher, the following twelve as a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teacher, and the last 11 as an educational technology trainer for the Mesa Public School District. My current position involves developing technology integrated materials for curriculum across the district. I also train teachers how to implement the technology, especially with the use of a Smartboard.
Besides teaching, I'm involved in Valley Big Brothers and Sisters, and I'm a site representative for our teacher's union. I like to be outdoors when the weather is below 100 degrees, whether it's walking, bicycling, hiking or just hanging out with my husband or friends. I also like to travel, cook, read, and sew.
