- I'm a geek, but I also have an athletic background. My wife and I were both college athletes, that's how we meet. I started teaching math and volunteer coaching in 2004 and by 2006 I had become the tech coordinator at our district. I'm still coaching, but I'm out of the classroom now, but I still have a passion for education. I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to use technology to help student's learn.
