I am driven to reform public education by shifting the focus of learning away from memorizing facts and information to concentrate on skills that students need to thrive in the 21st century. Our students need "poratable" skills such as creativity, communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and social skills. I believe that through the use of technology and experiential learning, we can engage our students and awaken their imagination.
