Hi Ashley, My name is Leon Avrech in San Jose (small world). I am a retired 8th grade U.S. History teacher. I retired after 37yrs. in middle school as teacher, dept. chair, vice principal and principal. After 10 yrs as principal I went back to teaching 8th grade history. I miss it unlike alot of teachers who are happy to get out. You know some of them I'm sure. I wrote a book to help new teachers. "Think You Can Teach?
