- Hello, my name is Amanda. I teach 6th grade at Hope Lutheran School in Shawnee, Kansas. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. My newest hobby is digital scrapbooking. I love that there is no mess and I can preserve the memories of my daughters in a meaningful way. In my classroom I enjoy using a Smart Board, computers, and digital/flip cameras.

Teaching in the Digital Age is exciting. Finding new ways to teach, connect, and help students grow is a challenge we, as educators, are starting to realize. Collaborating and networking are becoming essential skills for educators.
