The 6th graders at Chichester Central School in Chichester, New Hampshire (USA), would like to invite you to participate in our blog. We have created a blog, which we hope will allow us to explore varying diets from around the world. Our goal is to understand what other country’s diets consist of and what they consider to be healthy. Here in New Hampshire, we eat a lot of seafood and lobsters as we are so close to the Atlantic Ocean. We also grow and eat fresh corn, apples, strawberries, blueberries and even pumpkins. If you are interested, please visit our blog at cgagnon.edublogs.org and respond to the “World Diets” page. If you respond, it would be helpful if you could include which country or area of the world you are responding from. If you are not interested, it would be much appreciated if you could pass this along to a friend or colleague that may be.
We here in New Hampshire look forward to your response. Thanks
Hi, Sue:
I still have 4 or 5 students who cannot get to their dashboards. On their own blogsite, when they click on site admin, they get kicked back to the class site dashboard. They are unable to post to their own blog.
carmi5spma, carmi5cimu, forget who the others are.
Still unable to use edublogs forums.
my own email is found by concatenating the strings, "carmi", "blogs", the at sign, and the name of google's email service. Thanks.
I am the director of an adult education project in California that focuses on technology, and we are producing our fall newsletter. I would like to highlight a quote I paraphrased from your wiki, http://suewaters.wikispaces.com/ (which I love, by the way.) I need an outside voice supporting the use of read/write web options to expand our knowledge and connections. Do you feel comfortable with this as a quote?
Personal Learning Networks (PLNs) are all about using web tools such as blogs, wikis, and email lists to create connections with others which extend our learning, increase our reflection, and enable us to learn together as part of a global community. PLNs increase our opportunities to ask questions and receive help compared to our normal daily face-to-face interactions.

I might have to take out the last sentence. What about the credit, do you have a different title you would like me to use?
Thanks, Sue, and thanks for all your good work! I've been coming across your name for a few years now.
I am wondering if you can help me out? It's a very basic question! I work for School Libraries in NSW and we have used your wonderful Edublogs for ages to create our blogs. Now the appearance has slightly changed and I literally don't know how to create a new blog! Our primary blog is at http://rapblog.edublogs.org/
I seem to be creating a new post within an old blog, called Wildfrid blog, when what I want to do is set up 2 new addresses called http://rapblog6.edublogs.org/ [name: Bear and Chook books rap] and rapblog7.edublogs.org/ [name: Term 4 HSC Belonging 2009]
Could you ring me if you have a minute and walk me through it on 98867478 - I am so sorry I don't get it.... It must be something so simple that I am stuffing up!!
Hi Sue,
In December I had never seen a Wiki. My students and I jumped in with both feet and haven't looked back. The students are very excited to have a real audience. Please take a look at what they've created so far. RPG Maker XP Help. We would appreciate any feedback you have. Currently the wiki is protected, so you'll have to either email me your feedback or give it through Classroom 2.0.
Thanks!
Pat
With your work in mLearning and Ed Tech, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
I'm interested in the survey you did on computer literacy before a training (mentioned back in July, I think). Where can I see the actual survey, if you don't mind sharing?
Many thanks Sue, your blog looks very informative, looks like you have been exploring and learning lots. Will also need to check out twitter, another Web 2.0 technology to explore. Finding it hard to find the time as Xmas approaches.
All the best and have a great festive season.
Hi Sue, I have just joined the site and looking for Perth based people. Didn't want to lose your contact and the many innovating things seem to be into, so hope we can be friends. Lucia
Hi Sue, welcome from Europe: Germany! I checked out your wikispaces site. And I like it! Great!
I focus on Web 2.0 apps as to education, mainly digital teaching methods.
Thus I created a group DigiSkills on Classroom 2.0
I would like to join you!
By the way, I´m responsable for European schoolprojects in Bavaria/Germany.
Check out two of my blogs
