Thanks Mark. I really like the wiziq.com site. It looks very user friendly and the best part is that it's free. The only problem that I see is that the more programs that I look at, the more muddled the picture gets. I have to think, which one is going to be the best product for my stakeholders? When working with such a large organization, things such as accessibility, user-friendliness, appropriateness, etc., etc. all go into play. This is one that deserves some additional looking into. Thanks again.
As you've noticed, we're working hard on a range of educational applications; one, Boolify, was released early last year (we're releasing an updated version this month) and others, including The Accomplished Librarian, Glean, and Me, You and History, are in production. Each and every tool we produce is free and public... and more will be released soon!
So - thanks for the info & comment and cheers!

WOW! Thanks for that information! I can see how this can be addicting if you're not disciplined. Boy I'm in trouble now. Unfortunately I have to get to work at the moment. Duty calls. Can't wait to get back to check out the resources you provided me. Our school just happens to be looking into adding the online school for next school year. So thanks again. See you soon!
Thanks Mark, I'll be happy to check those out. I'm currently using Studeous for my classroom website. I used Ning until the higher-ups in my school system banned the use of Ning. Do you have any experience with Studeous?
Thank you! I will check out both resources! I am currently teaching a professional development course on meaningful integration of technology for 6-12 teachers, and I'm sure I can get some wonderful ideas both here and through your suggested resources. Thanks again!
Thanks so much, Mark,
I am doing quite a bit of integrating, but like I said, I am always up for the newest and most innovative things! My students love whenever I introduce new tech to the classroom, and so I really appreciate your suggestions.
Appreciate that Mark! I'm here to learn, mostly, and these seem like good starting points. I've got some "distance learning" challenges this spring, so if anyone knows tools that would help two students from afar participate easily in a half-day seminar with another 16 students, advice is welcome!
Thanks for the links to the tech resources. I hope to have some time to check them out later this evening when I'm finalizing revisions to my syllabus.
