Hell Victor. I'm new to all of this. I am currently in grad school pursuing my masters in Integrating Technology into the Classroom. I now teach 8th grade civics and my goal is to use technology more often in my classroom.

I saw your favorite post about The Networked Teacher of the 21st Century. Technology is so vital today and moving so fast. I will say it can be overwhelming sometimes, at can create challenges in the classroom while you are trying to gain confidence with these valuable tools. But, it is true that we should find ways to create these tech opportunities and get beyond the obstacles. This is one tool that students will need as a know how when they get out into the real world. Technology can help so many problems and speed up in the cure of many problems.

Your post was very motivational. You are right that students can learn from all over and yet not leave their town. I actually never saw the odiogo.com tool where you can have the article read out loud. How does this work. Can you attach this to any written item on the computer and have the material read aloud?

The video, "A Brave New World-Wide Web" was very catchy and the added music created inspiration where we'd want to go as educators. And the Stephen Neil quote was a nice touch. You need the right leaders and pioneers to guide others along the way.

I have started my own blog for grad school at http://jraineseducation.blogspot.com
