Teaching in the digital age can be trying for educators. As soon as you think you have something down, a new item or digital media device comes along and ruins all of that. I am by far a digital native. I grew up with computers in the classroom, even if it was Oregan Trail on a Apple Floppy Drive. We had at least 5 computers in each classroom. I speak the digital lanquage of todays learners as well. I think that understanding digital learners will make teaching students of the future much easier. You have to be willing as an educator to keep on the growing changes in the digital world. The being a student today video was quite interesting and really opened my eyes to all students of today learn different;y than I learned just 5 years ago. Understanding digtial devices and student learning will allow me as an educator to continue to meet the growing needs of my students.
