The days of network crashes and lost grade books are happily behind the CAM CSD, but as with smooth running systems we do have our share of "Gremlins" causing disruption in seemingly undetectable ways.  Those of you who grew up with the "Police" can also relate to them as "Ghosts in the Machine".

Phones go haywire, voicemail get's disrupted, bells disappear, clocks stop working are all events that converged on the high school building at the start of the school year.  Our staff did what every good staff does, they adapted.  Even when we fixed the bells yet somehow the "Ghosts" took down several class room projectors, we found extension cords (that we disconnect every night Mr. Fire Marshall) and continued on with our teaching.

You have to be able to adapt in a world of technology tools and we've moved past being paralyzed by a missing dongle or when an online service suddenly charges for it's usage.

There will always be issues with any tool, heck even pencil sharpeners break down, it's the good teachers and systems that can move past and finish the lesson with simple problem solving...something we're trying to teach our students.
