I am working on a film the tells the story of the corporate takeover threat to public education.

In the summer of 2014 my partner on this project, Jack Paar, attended a BATs congress in D.C. with his wife who is a public school teacher.  He shot about 20 hours of interviews and footage with teachers and some students.

I'm interested in what's going on because my mom was a public school teacher for 25 years.  So what teachers are talking about has always been of interest to me.

After looking at the footage I was convinced that we needed to get this film made.  It is primarily about the efforts to privatize public education and how teachers, students and parents are pushing back.

Jack and I are professional filmmakers and we would like to craft a feature length documentary that touches on what is happening to public education around the nation.  But we need a lot of help to get this made.

We have put together several trailers and if you would like to learn more about us and the project go to   http://www.busyboyproductions.com/movies-tv/corporatized-documentary

We are trying to raise money from people that have an interest in getting the teachers side of the story out.  We are running a campaign at https://www.gofundme.com/856q545g.

I hope you are interested in supporting our efforts.  Thanks for reading this.
