AASL Crosswalk - Implementation

In my first year as media specialist, I will seek Professional Learning Unit (PLU) approval for teachers to implement the standards.  I will begin by getting out of the media center and into the classrooms to see face-to-face if there are any ways I can assist the teachers.  I have learned over the past couple of years that teachers are less likely to simply reply to emails if they do not feel it is pertinent.  Teachers are more likely to be open to implementing the standards when they see me out and about and genuinely concerned about their success.
