Sylvia, Look at your last post about EduCom:
"Alan Kay (inventor of the personal computer), David Pogue (tech writer for the New York Times and author of the Missing Manual series of books) are keynoting. Featured speakers include Hall Davidson, Wesley Fryer, Bruce Dixon, and Gary Stager."

Alan Kay
David Pogue
Hall Davidson
Wes Fryer
Bruce Dixon
Gary Stager

Hispanic in the group?
Woman in the group?

Nope, White Middle Class Males.

Get the picture about who is Coming to the Buffet?

I agree, and so does Gary Stager, who is in charge of the program committee. I'm also presenting there, but not as a keynote, and didn't put myself on this list. I'm not in the same league as these guys, but maybe I should have stepped up!

Anyway, Gary's been working like a demon to get some other representation, (you should see the list of people he asked) and managed to get a last minute booking of a woman who is an expert in digital photography. I can tell you he went out of his way to do this specifically for this reason.
