On a bright, sunny October 28, 2008, temperature in Salem is 48 degrees, looking for a high of 68--just about perfect. Halloween is a few days off, but my Christmas cactus is in full bloom. Fall is stretching into a perfect Indian Summer. Oh, that it could hold on for a few more weeks. But we need rain, and it's not far off, so they say: Friday's the day. Saturday, I will attend a photo class at Oregon Zoo in Portland, shooting those little critters up close. Watch for new postings to appear.
