What the students want

I asked the student to tell me where we could use the new sites over the next few chapters. A couple of students have respond with some good ideas on how and where to use the sites. Most haven't respond yet and a few acted like they had no idea what I wanted. I guess if you have never been asked what you would like to do in class, then you wouldn't really know how to respond. It will be interesting to see what the others come up with for suggestions.

Online classes and new sites for classes

Today for my online classes, I gave the students between my two classes and the four high schools that they are in a different kind of assignment. Each group has a different website to learn and create a presentation on how to use it. When they are done, I will put the presentations in one place so the students in any of the classes and schools will have access to them. The sites I chose to use are bighugelabs, blabberize, glogster, voicethread, toondoo, and dipity. Not sure how this will work… Continue
