Hey Jayme,

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.

Do you mind passing my message along to students and your HS colleagues again?

Thanks,
Jack

D'oh. Ok thanks for the reply. Feel free to let any of your high school contacts know about this. Have a good Super Bowl or non-Super Bowl weekend :]

Hi Jayme. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Jayme -

Thanks for the comment. Isn't this a great resource? I'm discovering all sorts of different Ning groups; for some reason, this format resonates with educators. If you look at my profile, I think you can see all the ones I've joined. I particularly like the one that came out of a ed tech conference in Shanghai. Also, have you tried Twitter? If you start following a bunch of people in Twitter, you can learn a great deal that way, too!

Make sure you stop by the Global Education ning, too, if you haven't already done that.
